Wartungsarbeiten am Radioteleskop
Das Arecibo Observatorium ist momentan für 3 Monate wegen Wartungsarbeiten geschlossen. (Entfernung von Rost und Farbresten).
SETI@home wird in dieser Zeit SETI Classic Daten und gespeicherte Multi Beam Daten zum analysieren verweden.
Das keine neuen Daten aufgezeichnet werden gibt SETI Zeit an Astropulse weiter zu arbeiten.

Arecibo Observatory is currently shut down for three months to clean up corrosion on the telescope platform (which includes safe removal of lead paint). SETI@home will continue to operate on classic data, and we have a backlog of new multibeam data to analyze as well. While not collecting data we’ll have extra time to work on Astropulse.
